5th, destined for a life as a sleazy barfly. |

Cast out on the streets at the age
of five I resorted to playing piano at various beer joints in North Jersey |

Taken in by a kind family at the
age of thirteen I was taught morality and a sense of normalcy. |

| Obviously I could never be normal,
as you can see here, trying to emulate Rick Nielson of the band
Cheap Trick. This was my first bass. I delivered
newspapers for a year to purchase this instrument ...

 As you
can see, this experiment failed miserably. |
Thinking that my environment was twisting my mind, my parents moved
the family to West Virginia for that small town upbringing.
