competition will be held at Earthlink Live, and televised in November on
WUPA TV.
Hot off the presses - our new CD "Scari Pictures"
arrived today and is now available through our website or CD Baby.
Special thanks to our friends at Firehouse Food & Spirits, where
we won their July 4th Battle of the Bands. We really enjoyed playing all
weekend for a great group of people.
Our new CD - Scari Piktures - is rapidly approaching completion.
The recording, mixing, mastering and artwork are done, and the final
product should be ready by mid-July.
We are tooling up new press kits for the media and clubs and working on
booking. At the same time we are working on the completion of the full
length CD and some new times are emerging as well. I guess we a pretty
busy if I could stop and thing about it!
Our website redesign is in progress. Our tireless webmaster and
sound engineer Sallie Spain is working very hard to bring the beast to
life, so check back often. There is a feedback area set up, so be sure to
let u hear from you.
Our EP CD release party gig at Somber Reptile’s Cajun Kitchen was a
blast. Everyone there had a fantastic time, and the band had two encores.
Of note, were Gene’s fantastic rendition of Cliffs Of Dover from Eric
Johnson, and our own Fortune Cookie.
Also, our opening act was Alterstate from South Africa who did their
first gig in the USA. They did a fantastic acoustic set and we look
forward to working with them soon. Thanks guys! |
